The Kingston Police are encouraging residents to sign up for a community safety initiative that bridges the gap between law enforcement and the public by creating a centralized registry of private security cameras.

On October 21, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m. security surveillance cameras at a restaurant in the area of Arlington Park Place and Midpark Drive showed two individuals had broken into the business.
