    In October of 2025, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit launched an investigation into persons actively involved in the trafficking of crystal methamphetamine and other illicit drugs within the City of Kingston. A Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant was subsequently obtained for a residence on Ford Street.

    On October 23, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m. a member of the Kingston Police Patrol Division was conducting routine patrols in the area of Division Street and John Counter Boulevard when they observed an individual spray painting an overpass.
